About me

I coach introverts who feel underestimated or misunderstood. Understanding how people are wired and leveraging diversity are very important to me. It was the reason why I ultimately chose to become a coach.

I have been doing (and am still doing) a lot of self-development, in various ways. I completed a Masters degree in Journalism and New Media at the University of Leiden and completed an Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA) at the Berlin School of Creative Leadership. I was coached to eventually take the step towards entrepreneurship and am certified as a Coach Practitioner (NOBCO/ EMCC/ EQA).

My approach is characterized by a mix of scientific insights and practical exercises to allow people to explore the area outside of their comfort zone. I like to step outside of my own comfort zone by doing improvisation theater and speaking in public.

Book about introvert leadership

I have written the book Introverted Leadership, available via Amazon. In this book, I explain what introversion is, what the current views on good leadership are and what prejudices introvert leaders have to deal with. Interviews with introvert leaders from around the world illustrate the power of introvert leadership.
